The Rebelaires have entertained crowds across the country for 60 years! This year, the tradition of excellence lives on through the 35 singers, instrumentalists and crew members on stage. Choreographed by Farlanda Buchannon and James Mankle, and directed by Daniel Oldenkamp, The Rebelaires transport you to ancient Greece and a tale that has been told for centuries. 

In Greek mythology, the prisoner Icarus escapes his confinement by soaring toward the heavens on wings of wax. Ignoring his father’s counsel, Icarus experiences the reckless joy of flight until the sun melts his wings, causing a tragic plunge from glory into the depths of the sea.
