Chris Storm is the director of choral activities and piano at V.J. & Angela Skutt Catholic High School in Omaha, Neb. This year marks Storm’s 25th year of teaching at the high school level. At Skutt Catholic, Storm teaches four sections of beginner and intermediate class piano, and directs the concert choir, chamber choir, Music Ministry ensemble, Hawkappella men’s ensemble, Musettes women’s ensemble, and two show choirs, Vivace and Allegro. 

Prior to moving to Omaha in 2009, Storm was the director of choral activities and fine arts department chair at Bishop Heelan High School in Sioux City, Iowa. He also taught in Parkston, S.D.

Storm received a Bachelor of Music Education from South Dakota State University, and a Master of Music degree from the University of South Dakota. In the past 19 years, his choirs have been well-received where they performed and competed in festivals both domestically and internationally.

When not working with choirs, he loves spending time with his wife Monica, their four children and their dog.
