Show Choir Bio

Music in Motion is a non-auditioned group of more than 40 sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students from Sergeant Bluff-Luton Middle School. The group rehearses twice a week from October through March. This year, Music in Motion competes at Sioux Center Showdown, Bishop Heelan Crusader Classic, Westwood Jubilation and Hinton Soundsational.

The theme for our 2026 show is Colors. Our show starts dark and alone with Paint it Black before we start to realize how our own personalities and unique traits all come together with True Colors to paint a brighter, more colorful picture in this world, much like a Kaleidoscope.
